Food delivery unicorn DoorDash has finalized a massive lease of 193,000sf at Kilroy Realty’s 303 2nd St. This lease represents an almost-quadrupling of DoorDash’s existing footprint in San Francisco. Rents for the new space are rumored to be over $85/sf/year, and most of the space will require an extensive build-out component.
This deal is the 15th lease transaction larger than 100,000sf in San Francisco this year, and the number of large blocks of vacant space continues to dwindle as demand remains incredibly strong.
